City
Hall Visit by Plouffe School
The Plouffe School made their annual trip to City Hall for their Flag Day celebration on June 14th in the Amphitheater. Their school band played patriotic songs as students celebrated the day with essays devoted to honoring the flag as the Mayor posted colors with assistance from Plouffe students and the Brockton Police Honor Guard.
Etonic
Lofts - Downtown Condominiums
One of
the Mayor’s long time goals for stimulating development and
transformation of the downtown has been the introduction of
market rate housing to resuscitate and stimulate the
renaissance of Brockton's central economy and bring disposable
income to the businesses downtown. The fruits of his long time
efforts paid off recently with the ribbon cutting of the new
Etonic Lofts condominium complex at the corner of Commercial
and Centre Streets adjacent to the Downtown Commuter Rail
Station.
