This photo is a Mural done by the Boys & Girls Club of Warren Avenue and dedicated last week to the City of Brockton and the Walnut Turner Neighborhood.
It sits at the intersection of Warren Avenue and Spring Streets and depicts important people in that neighborhood that represent role models and pillars of their community. Additionally, the mural contains important buildings in that area that the kids frequent.
(From left to right) Rev. Walker (brown striped tie) of the Messiah Baptist Church, Elizabeth Xavier, (yellow
necklace) nurturer of community and social conscience, Vovo, a well known grandmother and care giver, and Trancella Marshall, another active and caring member of the Walnut Turner neighborhood. |
